Skid is $75 with bumper purchase. It bolts to the bumper and stock radiator support. 3/16" construction and 7 slots.
Light holes were made for certain lights. Call or PM for price
I also make just a winch mount for ZJs. You can cut the stock plastic bumper to clear it or use it as a base to make your own bumper. It's $299 shipped and I'll post pics later.
Thanks

It's been awhile since I've weighed one but I think about 55-60 lbs for the regular bumper and 65 for the winch bumper.

jamscal 06-12-2009, 08:04 AM PM'ed.
Thanks!
jamscal 07-14-2009, 12:03 PM This is a bit custom. It's the same basic shape as my regular bumpers.
Some unibody cutting was done to get it a little higher and tighter.
It also bolts to the stock lower rad support, (which will be modified to gain additional clearance.)
I am hoping to build future bumpers with a similar integral skid plate, and can build another like this or even tighter depending on how much unibody you want to cut.

Nice Jeep.
I received your PM, thanks for the compliments. I should have the Jeep back by the end of February. Ill be making a trip to Moab this spring, so I will want to have the bumper on by that time. I will get ahold of you once I have the Jeep again and am ready to make the trip down to L-ville. Id like to have the bumper made on my Jeep if possible, that way it fits perfectly. Im still a novice to welding, or I would attempt it myself  I cant imagine what kind of steel jungle gym I would create. lol. Ill be entering the Jeep in shows and such, so Im wanting it to be as nice as possible, hints me paying someone to build it :smokin:

jamscal 05-14-2010, 06:35 PM would you be able to ship a rear bumper kit? shipping to canada would kill me otherwise. what kind of price am i looking at to ship to toronto?
I can't do a kit.
I've shipped several bumpers to a place just across the border in the US where Canadian buyers picked them up. Might be something to look into. Probably $75 to ship a rear to somewhere like that in NY.
Haven't shipped a rear into Canada in awhile but the last two front bumpers were $135 IIRC.
Thanks.

1997V8ZJ 09-16-2010, 09:24 PM Thanks man, I appreciate it! I'm a senior in high school and I need to do a senior project in order to graduate. I decided to build a bumper for my Grand Cherokee and I absolutely loved your design and your work! I was hoping to build a bumper similar to yours.
1997V8ZJ 09-18-2010, 08:45 PM Could you help me with some ideas on the bumper or even some demensions of your bumper with me? Thanks man.

I can make it so the ends of the bumper are shorter. I've done one before for a guy who cut his fenders up to the 'accent line' above the stock openings.
$575 shipped, just send the pics when you order.
1997V8ZJ:
The best way to build a first bumper is to mock it up with cardboard and tape until you get the look you want.
Then use those cardboard pieces as templates for your steel.
Cut, weld and start grinding.
Thanks,
James
1997V8ZJ 09-27-2010, 11:19 AM Thanks Jamscal, greatly appreciate it! Your bumpers are the best I've seen.

I can do it. Front bumper will probably be the same price as the winch bumper.
I'll make rock sliders for $285 in 2x3 rectangle tubing, slash cut ends.
PM me and we can discuss pricing for a package deal + other details.
Thanks,

jamscal 01-02-2011, 07:38 AM do you do layaway lol
I actually have taken payments on several bumpers...just like layaway.
I start making the bumper when it's almost paid off and it's ready to ship when I get the final payment.
Works for me.
I don't want to be Kmart and keep track of $50 a month for a year or anything, but if you need to spread out $600 over two or three months that's fine.
Thanks,
James

jamscal 01-16-2011, 10:00 AM I get a lot of questions about how these mount to the vehicle, so I'll put up a few pics and info.
Step One: Remove old bumper cover.
Step Two: Remove factory tow hooks. Actually it's possible to keep these but the factory nutplates must be removed. It's a pretty heavy support system and ties into the lower rad support, so keep it if you can.
Step Three: Clearance unibody holes (pictured) to the outside. The bumper will slide in and bolt up to the factory tow hook holes (4 per side).
Step 4 insert bumper, install hardware, line up and tighten down.
I have some mounts pictured, which will of course be a part of the bumper when you get them.
I also have a pic of the already clearanced hole as well as a build occuring on the vehicle.
Let me know if there are any questions.

jamscal 01-16-2011, 07:21 PM The winch mount looks really good is the anything special you have to do to mount it?
Thanks.
Just cut the unibody holes like in the above pics. It mounts just like my bumpers.
It's up to you to cut the plastic bumper cover to fit.
The winch mount also will be a great start to a homebrew bumper somewhere down the road, if you want to go that route.

Thanks, $575 shipped for the front. Add $75 for the skid plate.
Rear bumper is $600 plus shipping, which will be at least $100. Bumper will clear the factory receiver.
I can make a gas tank skid or beef up a factory skid. I have at least one laying around.
D-ring/clevis mounts are included on all bumpers (but not the actual clevises).
I've made a few sets of sliders but I don't know if I have any installed pics. I can do any size rectangle tube to any length, slash cut the ends, add steps, etc.
I sort of liked these zj sliders with 1/4" plate steps:
