Well i got back this morning from riding along with BigDude and "ShepDog", (Casey). Thanks guys. 350Sammy(tim) was there with his 44" shod sammy. I gotta say that is probably the coolest ride i've yet to see! (come awn 44's on a sammy!!!!) Also Keven Mize aka toploader was there. Whether its a competition or just some trail riding this dude is always Getting IT!! Also his friends gave me a ride in there blazer on 38's for a while till they had some breakage(Thanks guys!!) It was a blast and fun just riding for some good wheeling.

I will have pics tomorrow. I guess thats where everyone was at yesterday. I was gonna make the trip in my scout, but STILL don't have front short side and stub shafts....SOO me and my pal drove up in a volvo doing about 30 mph on trail 1, we pithced tent at 2 in the morning friday nite at stateline camp ground, and saw some bad rigs. We woke up and WALKED to lower two and watched a 1/4 elip jeep on 42's and 1 tons go up lower two, and crawl over the big rock on the 1st ledge, then his buddy had to get pulled up both ledges he was in a cj7 extd. wheelbase and 38's with scout 44's...So after thinking about how much walking we would have to do, i asked them if they had open seats for me and my buddy...they did and from there on out had a blast with them, they were a good group. We then rode upper 2 and watched an open diff wrangler TRY to go up it...no luck. So we made it up upper 2 easy, then onto trail 4 to trail 11 for gaurdrail and helicopter pad, we got stuck up with some sammis ALL on 35 in boggers and none of them made it up, 1 rolled down and left the whole bottom half of gaurdrail with oil all over it, both jeeps had to winch up and the guy i was ridin' w/ on 38's broke his ujoint on his short side, had to get winched up...then onto Helicopter pad, ANOTHER sammi rolled, the sammi rolled 4 times down Helicopter pad, and wasn't wearing any safety restraints and got cut up pretty good (that sammi group prolly had 6 sammis w/ them set up exactly the same way tires, wheels, springs and everything was the same way...talk about a club!)...the guys we rode with decided it was best to head back to camp and fix the ujoint, i was hoping for a shot at helli pad, oh well better than walkin'. Anyway we did have to walk back b/c my pal had to get back home.

Rockjeep, did you see that group of guys that had 2 white blazers (old blazers) on 42's or 44's, that white cj5 on 44's with a spare 44 tsl on top, and that NEW s10 zr2 on 1 ton running gear, 44's and what sounded to be a 450 hp crate motor?? Those guys were laying burnouts about 20 ft long across the bridges at stateline campgrounds...the cj5 wasn't, he was broke or somthin' and aslo had a 10 bolt front:eek: They said they were at slickrock, but i don't know if they rode it...they said it was backed up...I wanted to head over there, but we had to leave and i also didn't want to walk over there either.

PICS TOMORROW!!!

was the guy w/the 42's and quarter elip named doc and was it red? yes i saw all those blazers and that cj5. we also saw and laughed at the 10 bolt front and the fact the spare was mounted SO HIGH!! i really didn't like that zr2. it was clean and good parts but looked gay! hehe tim said he knew of those folks and they like to run nitrous, blowers and alcohol motors! we were at slick rock and got there just in time cause about 10 rigs pulled up behind us just after we got there. saw a fellow in a yellow hybrid make it past the first ledge of slick rock then well climbing the second(just rained) he started to go over backwards and sideways but by some luck he actually started to slide and did a full 180 and landed on his tires. Looked like he probably sucked the seat covers off on that one!

by looks of it on those rigs...too much money to know what to do with...if you know what i mean! That guy with the 10 bolt and 44's said he *had* a front 60 but broke that and put the 10 bolt in  Doesn't make sense to me. When that s10 hit the brakes it looked like he was ridin' on pogo sticks, they weren't from around here, b/c they didn't know their way around and it DIDN"T look like they wheeled at all on saturday. That guy in the 1/4 elip jeep was DOC, he was cool and his friend was Dan...dan wanted to GET ON IT and did, but Doc was a little nervous. He had a very well set up rig and could so some crazy things, and they were a good bunch of guys, ill have pics of those guys going up lower 2 and I can't remember what other pics i have, but i will post all that i have tomorrow.

wish i could have met up with you, i really would have like to see slickrock with all thos people on it...seen if before, but it always changes up in tellico and would have loved to see everyone gettin' AWN, going up slick*hard*rock.

Those guys w/ the blazers, the s10, and cj definately weren't from around here they thought the head of trail 2 was still trail 1, but some guy that had somewhat of a brain went over the bridge, and thats when i saw the burnout...you could hear them from the exit of upper 2 down at the base of trail 1 by the stateline!! That was about the only thing they had going for them, it would have been a shame to see that s10 mess up that purty sheetmetal on slickrock or lower 2:flipoff2: :flipoff2:

That cj5 was not lookin' soo good, 1st gear was gone, the clutch linkage was all danglin and such and that damn tire rack was uglier than sin...i didn't really like that guy b/c i work for every penny that goes into my scout and i build it, and he had the balls to say that, that was his shitty jeep and that he *has* a 2003 wrangler on 2 1/2 rockwells, 44's, coilovers and a cobra motor with 400 hp!!! Funny, how come it wasn't at tellico?? :flipoff2:
I didn't really like that group cept for the early blazer, the plain white one he was cool, but that cj5 guy can lick my balls.

PICS MANANA

dude i watched doc come down an obstacle at the top of the mnt before you get to the top of helicopter pad, that dude needs some limiting straps big time!!! his damr rear axle had so much rear steer and flex his drivers side tire started to go behind the body. seemed to really make it hard for him on that obstacle, either get a limit strap or some type of anti roll bar or both.
referring to the cj5. he's probably full of it. who the hell breaks a 60 front and puts in a 10 bolt?

Yeah, doc had some extreme flex...he gets a little nervous too...but with enough people around, he will do the obstacle. That dude with the cj5 was just an outright idiot....ANYWAY, pics tonite when i get back down to auburn.
