5 sided nuts on wheels where do you get a socket to fit ?

Penta nut socket. Specialty tools stores have them.

Once you get them off, ditch em and put on regular fine 1/2 nuts.

AM General did it to stop tire hounds from explosively disassembling the rim instead of taking the rim off the diff. :)
