I finally found my fj40. She was found in Whiterock, B.C. its a 77 with an aluminum tub, 74 top and doors, 2.5in lift, Warn 8274 winch, bush bar, side bars, in good mechanical condition for 2,100US. Oh Canada..... :D . Oh and it has 33in Dunlop mudrovers.

My future plans include tube fenders, fj80 axels w/lockers, 2link w/panhard front and fourlink rear airbag suspension, 3fe head for fuel injection, radiator mounted in back so that the winch can be brought in for frame shortening, 203 doubler, I plan on runing 37in MTR's or BFG crawlers.

However for now I promised the wife I wouldn't spend more than 3,000 total for the first year. So, I plan on new paint, fuel injection, rewiring the mess I was left and power steering.

My question today is that it needs a new radiator, but the pick'n pull wont have one, so I need to find a suitable alternative that will fit the engine compartment. Anyone runing a common radiator with their 2F?
