Dave has one of the Revolution Compacts at the shop on consignment. Really nice piece after a Ed Brown trigger, some stoning and a match bushing. I've shot it and really like the gun overall. Fit and finish is nice but the NIB trigger sucked ass. :grinpimp:

Not to rain on the parade but check out www.sigforum.com. The sig 1911 Revolution seems to have ALOT of mixed reviews. Alot of guys are having trouble with them but alot of guys swear by them too. I almost bought one, but after reading the info over there I opted for a 220 Combat instead. For the kind of money that the sig costs I think theres better 1911's out there, I would put the Springfield Armory Loaded over the Sig Revolution anyday. Thats just my personal opinion however, I encourage you to do some research over there and make your own opinion. For all I know Sig may have worked the bugs out and it could be one hell of a gun now.

I've read some on 1911 forum & after 2006 the quality appears to have gotten better.

I'll get some prices from you when I figure out what I want. Although, if you want to price me out the Carry & Compact Nitron, that would be a start. :grinpimp:

I'd like to molest a few first.

I know the one we played with had 3 things that blew ass.

Trigger
Mag would not drop empty
Feed ramp was cross cut and JHP's would hang.

A Ed Brown adjustable trigger, some stoning and polishing and some work in the mag shoot and i was sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

No joke, the thing out of the box was accurate but fussy, once worked over, dead nut accurate and ran like a dream. Sig quality is there no doubt, this one just needed a little love. Not suprising though for a off the shelf piece. I really like them and not too many people know about Sigs 1911 offerings.

I have one of the sig Revolution targets in Stainless, I love the freakin thing! I have about 1k rounds through mine, it has been flawless. it has a Kimber trigger on it, and the hammer sear was beveled slightly, by the gunsmith I bought it from, other than that its bone stock. It is very nicely put together, fit and finish is excellent. I would recommend it to anyone looking for nice 1911.
