Does anyone have a pic of a broken rear axle where the McGyver was to use a clunk of wood to fashion a sled where the wheel/axle used to be?

Thanks,

Steve G

No thats a broken c-clip fix.

I am thinking that he is looking for a board under the brake drum that you can slide on...

Right??? :flipoff2:

Hmm never seen a broken C-clip before, I figured it was the shaft that went. :flipoff2:

I think I have a copy of someone using a skid as though, just having issues finding it.

Thanks guys, those will do the trick. A film producer/director is looking for a situation to use in an upcoming movie. The setting will be a 1950s desert race that involves a seemingly unrepairable break that is fixed with ingenuity. I thought that this might be a good one for him.

I will tell him to put a plug in for pirate4x4.com in the credits if he uses the idea.
