does anybody have any idea what the correct pinon degree angle would be for a high pinon dana 60. and where exactley would you place the degree finder to get the correct angle

the correct pinion angle depends on how steep the driveline is. You put the angle finder across the yoke and you'll get your answer.

And remember on a front axle changing the pinion angle will also change caster unless you turn the Cs.

like brew chief said the "c"s on the outside edge need to have the welds ground down and rotated for proper caster then re welded if your going to change your pinion angle much. you need 2-9 degrees of positive caster for most applications but the real deciding factor is your current drive shaft angle and what suspension you are using, for a HP 60 this all should be a non issue unless you have a super short drive shaft and lots of lift.
