So I recently purchased a Dillon Swager and Forster trimmer both of which I will use for a while and then not use again for a while. Pete had suggested a rental system to me. Would anyone be interested in renting these as a package with a refundable deposit? IS this a silly idea? It's not really to make money as it would be very cheap, just as a way to help out my fellow OSR users who don't want to spend the money on the tools. Yes? No? Bacon?

It might certainly help out the not-too-serious reloader, but these should be something you already have if you're reloading on a regular basis. :)

And no its not a silly idea. The swager is a massive time saver. Everyone who reloads "Should" have a trimmer. But I've never had to trim since starting to reload, so I haven't bought one yet :laughing:. I'm gunna get the hornady setup that does it all. I'll have to sell some more brass to afford it though.
Ooh and FYI my dillon will be here this week so I'll be renting out my swager too

Why'd you have to go and quote him? The ignore feature works so well.:(

I've got a L.E. Wilson trimmer. But I could really use the swager to process a pile of crimped .308 that's been hanging out for a while. Let me know what you're thinking on rental fees.

I'm thinking $15 to $20 buys you two weeks with it, plus a deposit.
