Any real problem with grinding on a 1.6 block in order to use a Samurai starter?? I mean, has anyone heard of later problems because of this??

I´d think that judicious grinding, together with posterior light sandpapering to remove stress concentrations would be OK....

I haven't heard of any problems, although I used the 1.6 starter because:
1. It came with the block,
2. It is a gear reduction type, which IMHO is much stronger, not to mention starts easier, and I occasionally use the starter in gear...
