Just purchased an unlimited account for a month, ran the first one today. I'd be happy to run some for some folks. I'm unemployed right now and the $44 (w/ tax) doesn't come easy. I don't want to charge for this (and that's probably illegal somehow) but if you guys wouldn't mind throwing a few $ ($2-3?) my way in return, that would be cool. CarFax won't run anything with less than 17 digits for the vin. Either you forgot some digits, it's older than 79, or a grey market vehicle.

Can't do anything on CARFAX. There is another title search service out there, but I don't know if they will do anything before 79 either.
