Yeah, more pics :D I know you've got some good ones of your high clearance lower link :flipoff2:

I had a great time, thanks for showing me around. Looking forward to some future excursions with you, that is if you think my rig can hang ;)

I'll take a VHS copy of the video you took if $20 will cover it :)

Hey, just want you to know Syko, that if you don't win this weekend it isn't because of the jeep. I gotta admit that thing goes good. We ran everything at Tellico except for Peckerwood and Bigdude only pulled the string once and that was to pull someone else.
I came down hard on a rock on Lower 2 and bent my lower link that pushed my driveshaft into the transfer case, so I had to get on the end of the string so not to do more damage. Bigdude ran it after me and after everyone else ran, we jumped in the jeep and ran around and ran it again. Lots of other trucks with bigger tires were having more trouble running it.

I still can't believe a 4-cylinder YJ on 38s ran lower 2 twice, taking both lines past that ledge w/o a problem. BUT super sammy w/ rockwells, 44s, and a 350 was defeated on his first attempt and left to crab his way back to camp :flipoff2:

In fact I think that same YJ had an easier time than that professional rockcrawler with the rockwell equipped rig. What do you think 350sammy???? (because I don't think old Kevin was around to witness it :flipoff2:)

Oops :emb:

I typed my sh!t talking reply bfore you paid my junk those compliments. Thank you very much sir.

Please dismiss the first paragraph in my last post and only pay attention to the talk directed towards that professional rockcrawler :D

That does suck that your link got bent. After that rock was moved you would've walked it like everyone else. Super Sammy leg pressed about a 5 ton boulder down the hill and into a hole. This was after his rig was mangled. The boulder was teetering on the edge and a feat of human strength was required to move it to a safe position where it couldn't roll down the hill. Everyone benefitted from that rock all day and had a lot less carnage than super sammy, who ran lower 2 before it was moved .

I knew I had to get that in there before you started your shit talking. I figured it was better to fess up than have everyone hear it from you. I took all your glory away. Im just surprised that I haven't heard anything about the gas tank yet.:flipoff2:

Did ANYone make it up Peckerwood ledge or did you not get around to trying it? I've been there five times now and still haven't seen anyone make it without taking the winch. Would love to see it happen.

Hey, get off me, I like my "muffler". Let's see...if I get some more JB Weld and maybe some tank liner...

I'm surfing for a fuel cell now, I just need one that I can set upright so I don't loose what little storage I have.

RCI sell an aluminum fuel cell that sits more upright than flat. it is 30" wide, 12" tall, and only 9" deep.

they sell them in summit and here is RCI's web site

Tellico was fun this weekend...i missed yall at slickrock!! I wanted to see yall, i rode with that red and blue cj w/ 1/4 elip rear and 42's and the cj that was blue and yellow on 38in boggers, that blue and red cj made it OVER that huge rock on the left of the 1st ledge on lower 2 and never had to pull line, he had some pretty bad rear steer from his 1/4 elip though...Guardrail was slicker than snot!! Oil was all over it from some sammis' rollin' on it. I have pictures of Toploader4x4 in the stateline campground, and pics of lower two, i was going to post them tonite...but left them in a restraunt and my pals picked em' up, so tomorrow they will be posted.

Apparently some guy, in a sandrail with 44's up front and cut 50+" tractor tires out back, ran lower two late Saturday. He had to have had a lot of trouble, thus creating the new obstacle. Now the part that used to throw you into the wall plays second fiddle to the ledge right before it.

It was not sissified Sunday by any means. That ledge will get progressively worse because all theose big boys with 44s were having to horsepower over it.

Hey toploader- I hear you're not running ERoCC this weekend. Is that because you heard I'm leaving the 38s on my Jeep and Syko is driving it in the unlimited class???? :flipoff2:
