Any honest input about this place? It's a 400 mile drive and I am trying to decide if it's worth it.

I have been several times, and I love it.

The trails vary in terrain, and difficulty, but they have something for everyone.

What kind/how hard of wheeling do you like? What kind of rig will you be in?

I am used to rocks at Disney OK and Iron Range in MN. My current vehicle is an 85 toyota with 37" MT/R's and a 350 chevy motor. There is a large group coming down from Iowa next weekend. I really don't care for mud.

First off, NICE truck.

Bring it down, you will have a blast. as far as mu goes, you will go through more mud getting to someof the trails as you will encounter on the trails (depending on how much rain).

There are spots that are nothing but rock, but you'll like the trails too.

They have elecric hookups, a great shower house, and food on site too.
See ya at Howeipalooza

You will have a blast. It will be well worth the drive. There is all kinds of wheeling & it will depend on you as to what you are up for.

Well we had a blast as expected. We got down there about 10pm Thurs night and setup camp. There werent too many big rigs there Friday, so we went with some moderately built rigs on the 3s and 4s. The 3s and 4s had some pretty nice spots on them, and might give smaller rigs problems. Saturday we hit all the 5's and some other 4's. The bathrooms/showers/food stand, and camping area were all pretty nice.

Didnt get too many pics.

This was my first time to Smore and I had a good time. The camp ground, bathrooms, etc. are some of the best that you will find. There are trails for the little tire guys and the bigger rigs. We ran all of the 5 trails and there are a couple of nasty hill climbs that are fun.

I wasn't ready for an 800 mile round trip but the pictures look great. A lot of the people I know who went for the first time said the wheeling was awesome and the camping even better. Rumor has it that the showers were so clean flip-flops were not needed!

That's the truth!

The place is exceptional, the owners go out of their way to promote their park by having awesome trails for all, and having outstanding facilities, bathrooms camping, gate house, barn, pavillion, and race courses that are challenging and super spectator friendly. :)

There is NO place like SMORR. The total experiance is a 10!
