So it looks like the carnage Gods struck down upon a few of us this weekend... Here is my contribution - a broken CTM:

And just for shits-n-giggles, here is my carnage from last weekend:

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/uploads/104-0420_IMG.JPG

Both victims were on the front passenger side. The splines on the Warn shaft are also twisted inner and outer. :flipoff2:

Now for those of you that don't know me and/or haven't wheeled with me, these joints and shafts have taken some insane punishment. I still swear by CTMs! :p

Ok, the hub blew up in Little Sluice. I wasn't really doing much when it let loose. I think it was already cracked from earlier hard wheelin....

The CTM broke yesterday up on Fordyce. Again, I think it may have been weakend from earlier hard driving. But when it let loose I had the wheels cranked all the way to the left, and was attempting to climb a ledge. I was going up this when it broke:

I see you have one of his forged ones. I've been wondering if they are as strong as his earlier billet proto types. Has anyone broken one of the earlier ones?

Most people on the east coast don't swing that way. I mean it's not like what you're used to out there in CA. Just an FYI ;)

I don't think so. FYI I am getting version 2.0 super duper experimental CTMs to test out. We will see how they hold up.
