Anyone know a good place to try and pick up a complete CJ dash or at least the metal cutout panel that would be needed to build one??


Has anyone seen a swap from a YJ dash to a CJ dash done before???

i got a 83 cj dash ill sell, has most gauges cept for speedo

I wired a YJ dash harness to my CJ's dash and gauges when I did my 4.0L swap. it's a royal pain, but it's do-able if you take your time. the nice thing is that you don't ahve to dick around with the steering column wiring. the PITA is that you will need to figure out a new defroster system, or start cutting holes in your windhsield like the CJ's have.

I have wondered the same thing. I know you can buy new crome ones from 4 wheel hardware but who want a crome dash?? I would think it would be a possiblily accept for the heater connectoins. You would mostlikely still have to use ther YJ controll.

Im in CA I got it from a place called Capitol Jeepers i think it was actually 39 not sure it was a while ago the phone number is (916) 481-2326 call them
and these guys have Blank dashes only so try them or pay the pic and pull price
