Honestly never been able to wheel outside of my own area. I'm from Door County close to Lake Michigan. I really want to hit McCaslin and the Pipeline soon.

You can go in the national forest as long as you are on open trails, contact the dnr for current maps.

There is also northwoods overland (northwoodsoverland.com) they are a newer park in Rib Lake Wi.. Ma and Pa rockers is also a choice (parocker.com) I think they are near superior though.

Also WOHVA has trails at Mole Lake, near Crandon, that are open a couple times a year, once for the Jeep Jamboree and once for their Great Northern Trail Ride. (WOHVA.com)

I live in mid west Wisconsin and found several places to wheel. I am a member of Baderstate Fourwheelers, being a member we have private places to wheel, but also hit up some public ones such as

Also Dresser, WI. >www.memorial4x4.org

Apple Valley Farms > www.rpm4x4.com

Ma and Pa Rockers > www.parocker.com

Near us in Minnesota also is

Frontenac Farms (must be invited by club member to wheel, but if you called the president, I bet you could work something out)

Edit>>> Anyone know where exactly the Pipeline is....Any information, where you can wheel, whats the rules? Anyone have any pics? Thanks

The pipeline is near Crivitz, it is not a bad place to wheel, just pretty short. Has mud holes some rocks and nice trail riding.

The vehicle has to be street legal. I am sure there are others but i am not sure.

I go there a couple of times a year, May 16th is the WOHVA cleanup.

I will be at McCaslin memorial day weekend. We usually have a pretty big group. We usaully do one day at McCaslin and another at the Pipeline. The pipeline used to be an awesome spot, but they built bridges over a few river crossings and blocked some other good mud holes. But it still has on of the best rock crawls around. And still has some other good pits. And yeah, the vehicles have to be street leagal to go there.

If it wasnt for th street legal thing i would be in...What do they consider street legal? I am guessing that you have to drive it there, or just has to be able to pass a DOT inspection?

Great information here - I'd like to get beyond the AVF and Dresser runs I do. Gilbert will be coming up in the future, but I'd like to know more about these WI places to wheel.

Here's a WI based forum. Lots of good info on what's going on, and where to go. http://www.wi4x4.com/forum/
