Got back last night from PDX with some pics from the All British Field Meet. I got a few good pics of Eric Neal's truck and a few of a 4dr RR converted into a pick up, very nicely done! Oh and I swung buy "the shop" got a few pics there too. I forgot to bring them to work, but will bring them tomorrow. Who wants to post um?

OK,

The first 3 are Erich Neals truck, Stock deisel, Dual Sals converted to coils, with extended trailing arms, note the notch in the rear outrigger. Supper plush, 1st gear dump the clutch and it'll rock back to the rear bump stops. Down side is its sketchy at speed.

The last four, now forgive me but I never got his name, but it is a 88RR pick up conversion, bent F/R trailing arms, custom spring spacers. This truck had a lot of nice touches, from the custom bumbers to the tubing used to "clean up" the fender openings. Real nice guy, and did ALL of the work himself.

Thanks for the pics guys,

I had seen Erich's truck on the Northwest challenge website, it always intrigued me, and it made me feel proud do own a slightly dented rover. Kick ass paint job, I love it. Makes me wanna take a sawzall to my fenders too. The exhaust is niiice!

Are there any other sites that I can get more pics from? Does this guy have an e mail address? That think kicks ass.

What size swampers are those?

thanks

Eric's rig is running on Q78 swampers and the engine is a 2.5NA diesel short block with 2.25 diesel head and injection system. The front and rear axles are salisbury units from an armoured 110 and I think he has put 5.? to 1 ring and pin from a 101 or something into them. The trans and t-case are stock Series 2a if I recall. Neat rig, I'm thinking of doing the same sort of fender job on my 90 that I'm building, it is all bent up military panels anyway.
