I go to Calvary on Los Gatos Blvd. We have a bunch of members that wheel, so we decided to make a club. It is open to everyone. At least half the people going on this trip are not from our church. We have a monthly meeting at Mountain Mike’s, on North Santa Cruz, the first Sunday of each month 1:00. I sold my kart to pay for my Nomex stuff. My brother bought a Miata, and I helped him build it into a Spec Miata. We race it in the SCCA and I got my license this year. It is very fun to drive, but not as hard on the body as the kart. More $$$ though. I miss the kart. It was more of a wild ride.

I don’t live on apartment row anymore. I moved down the road a bit. Right where Camden and Blossom Hill cross.

Anybody else? We will most likely camp at buck. Friday be at the box most of the day, sat I dunno.....might run to the springs or somethin, might go to the box.....just have to see ;)

Although, unfortunately probably not too far from the truth. Bringing some fairly stock rigs through. Hey when you take the bypass around True Sluice would you wait up so I can send the milder rigs with you. :p

Sounds like it might be a little crowed up there on Friday. We have a confirmed 8 rigs, then, Belly Dragger says he’ll have 10, Keith said there will be a few with him, that’s over 20 heading in on Friday. :D

And I thought I picked a weekend that wouldn’t be too crowded.
Maybe I’ll post more about the scary bears. ;)

Hey I'm sitting here at work, but my mind has drifted to the trail a bit.
I haven't been on the con since the “windy clean up”. I think that was about 2 years ago. Anything of interest changed on the trail since then?
What is the sluice like? Last time I went it had just changed dramatically and was totally difficult, i.e. don’t try without 35 or larger and expect damage. Do you all remember the red show Toyota with a million shocks? (Not to rag on the truck it was just an event that people remember. Hay he made it with a little use of his own winch.)

There will be a couple of us heading down from Oregon, will be there Saturday. Not sure if we are going to Fordyce or Rubicon the first weekend. If we decide on Rubicon we will see you there. :beer:
