Can't find any primers or .22 ammo locally :rolleyes:. Usually I buy 300-400 Large pistol primers a year for my .44, about half mag half regular depending on what powder I'm using. Since the local sources are dry, I had to buy 1k of each online, since I had to pay the $20 hazmat fee I picked up 4 more pounds of powder and some .22 ammo even though I didn't really need it :laughing: Everthing was 4-5 weeks backorder at Cabela's :shaking:

I made about 500 rounds of 45 last night and 500 Sunday night. Last night cost me about $70 and 1 1/2 hours of time. Gunna make another 300 tomorrow night. Then I'll be out of primers. Fortunately the "rape me in the ass" show is in town so maybe I'll be able to get some there

Wasn't quite that bad, they had powder, but very little brass, primers and bullets.

It's a ugly spiral, it just makes you buy more when you can find it :shaking:

I've noticed less people using the range lately, and the brass recycle buckets are empty. Usually people only pull the brass they can use out and leave the rest, not any more they are grabbing everything.

I can get .22 easy, it's .45 I can't find.

Wandered into my local Wally World for other things but I always walk by the ammo case. It was bone dry, except for .223. :eek: There sat 1400 rounds of the Federal bulk packs $39/100 rounds. I didn't have the money, but I couldn't walk away. Grabbed the guy, bought all of it. $560 on the credit card right there.

As I was loading up at the counter, guy comes running around the corner, looks in the case and almost starts to cry. LOL. He said a buddy told him they were there and he just drove 20 minutes to get em. Dood actually followed me out to the parking lot bugging me to sell him some. He was shooting that weekend, begged, pleaded... offered $50 a box. Since I had 2000 at home already, sold him two boxes. :D Really felt for the guy.
