I have acquired an '88 Landcruiser based buggy with the stock 3FE engine. There is no key and the previous owner did some "modifying" to make the engine run without the key. I cannot quite figure out what he did, so I'd like to redo it. He has removed the fuel pump circuit from the factory harness so I cannot simply replace the ignition switch cylinder and key. I am "ok" with basic wiring but utilization of relays etc is a bit beyond my understood knowledge. I assume I need power to the computer/ignition, fuel pump, and momentary power to the starter. I would like to do this via a few toggle switches if possible.

I have attached a wiring diagram for the ignition switch.

Anyone help me out here...I'd like to get it running!

Thanks, Tim

you might want to consider having a toggle switch for the "switched" power to go to the fuel pump, ignition and ecm.
i'd use a push-button for the starter. keeps it simple.
