ok, before i get started, YES i did do a search, i just wanna find some honest opinions on how this setup would work. im currenty puttin toy axles under the zuk, and for the sus. im trying to work with what ive got (keepin with the low budget plan) im thinking of useing stock zuk rears up front, and stock toy front leaves in the rear, with a spoa and longer shackles. ill be using exteneded shock mounts. cutting the fenders and running 33 TSLs. how will this setup ride? flex? and will it set pretty level?? will the flex be equal?? thanks. CYA!!

Rears up front works well. Toyota's in the rear??? Don't they have a 3.5" offset in the pin location or am I think of something else?

i think they are offset but that shouldnt be a problem, i can flip them around so that i still have a longer spring, properly located axle and minimal if any frame extenting. CYA!!

Sounds like an affordable plan just going SPOA is a +

Toy rears are soft, at a 130 lb/in. spring rate. Should flex well. Theyre 48" long, with a 20.5" front and a 27.5" long rear half. They'll also sit pretty much flat.
The later models (89+) are 51" long... 21.5 in front and 29.5 in the rear.
Just useful information I happen to have pulled from DRMs page (http://64.226.214.225/toyota/misc__spring_information.htm).

So what if you were to reverse the spring so the 27.5 was the front, to push the axle back. Can any adverse effects be thought of if this was done. I have a set, and had figured I'd do that(I dont have any fuel tank worries, as it isnt going to be there)

I have a friend who runs toy springs front and rear in his Sami with his Toy axle swap. I'll be going the same route with mine, his flexes like crazy.

Hey, Ive decided for my own rig to run stock XJ rears in the rear of my sammy and rear toys up front... The stock front Toy springs are stiff and built kinda funny if you look at them, I think you would like the rears up front more than the stock toy fronts... I haven't got them mounted yet, so keep that in mind as it might just suck... just my .02... I did run with a guy a few weeks back that had YJs in the rear and stock Rears up front and it did really well... GO with what you got, and if it doesn't sit level get a winch or spare tire right?
