Ok I need help. It's almost time to put new tires on my 55. I'm in N TX, so it'll be mainly mud and some rocks. I will be alble to run 33's. Any that have worked out or not worked out for any of ya'll?

get swampers, if you drive on the road alot get swamper radials, not SSR's

Swamper Radials for combined use, bias for mainly trail. 33" SX's suck, don't stay on a rim, avoid those. 35"+SX's are better for some reason. Swamper radials work fine in rock too.

MTR's and BFG-MT's are not truely mud tires but aggressive AT's. They are good in rock and on the road, but they don't toss the terrain like a Swamper.

This is only from what I've seen. MT/R's work good when 2 thigns are present: 1: rocks, with no mud, or 2: if there is mud, you don't mind lots of wheelspin to clean 'em.

If you don't like a heavy throttle approach, then swampers as was mentioned.. radials are good, bias if you can live with them.

A friend of mine finally wore out his radial swampers (32x10.5) after over 30,000 miles of road & trail use. They're not THAT noisy, and do grip decently well. He's run them at near 50psi on the street and down to 12-14 on the trail.

HTH..
