a group of us are going to rubicon memorial day weekend. a wrangler on toyota axles and 39's, cherokee on 1 tons and 40's and my in my toyota truck on 37's. start at loon side either friday night or first thing saturday morning, plan is to wheel through and out tahoe side by sunday, just like we did last year. hopefully weather won't be as bad as it was last year. any one else planning to go?:beer:

I think that's a very wise decision. I almost always hit the 'Con on Memorial Day but with the wet conditions and the current CAO our club has decided to select another location. Maybe I'll see you at MR :smokin:

is there still a lot of snow up there? i figured with the weather warming up, it would start drying up. if it ends up being like it was last year, i don't think we will go.

my buddy drove up there a couple weeks ago loon is still frozen and there is a four foot pile of snow at the beginning of the first dam

hopefully the weather will stay warm and things will change in the next few weeks. if not, i guess we will be makeing some last minute trip changes.

yah the hooligans are diverting to moonrocks, save the con. its not worth it, dont be those guys. besides i have new guns to shoot off anyhow!

From what ive seen and read the conditions for the con are less that ideal if you haven’t check out the Rubicon trail section on pirate there’s many conversations in witch will answer your questions hears one to look at first
