Hi guys,

I'm after some help. The speedo on my mates 2.5 litre, manual '96 cherokee doesn't work for the first ten minutes of each journey( or when ever the engines cold) the Sensor in the gear box has been swapped but still no luck.

I'm asking for anybodies advice on what the problem may be or any suggestions as to diagnose the problem.
BTW the local dealer has priced up a replacement underdashboard unit and speedo clock for about £475 (700 dollars?) and it would take 8 weeks to get here from the USA.
With No guarantee that thats the problem I'm keen to buy it yet.
Any Advice really apprechiated.
