i saw this in the 304/242 thread, so i figured i'd start another thread on it.

what type of exhaust system works best for which applications?

e.g., i want my 360 to be a torque monster. should i go with a Ypipe and single exhaust?

i'm curious about the effects of...

headers
stock exhaust manifolds
y pipes
duals with/without H pipes
mufflers vs no mufflers

more back pressure=more torque, to a certain extent, right?
