I just recently sold my hard top, and will be buying a soft top. Anyone have any oppinions on which is the best. I have heard that Bestop are real good. What other options are out there. Kayline? Also where I could get a good deal, I will be getting the soft doors as well.
Thanks for the help

got mine from SOR.com the vinyl coated denim doesn't flap in the wind and they sell matching soft doors. Are you looking at a Bikini or a full soft top:confused:

I had a bestop and I had a Kayline (now specialty top) fasttrack. Both are OK, I like the bestop more. I also hear that Bestop has a new model out now with no snaps but that it does not have doors...I don't know any more about it though.
What I did not like about the Kayline was the way the door latch was designed, I also did not like the way the top was tensioned. You also have to drill a lot of holes in the tub even though you don't use snaps.
I'd get the tiger top from SOR.

I just installed my new Specialty Top. (Kayline) The sucker is considerably nicer than any of the Bestop’s I have had in the past (Snaps). I would still check out the new “Fast Track” top from Bestop now that it is out. I have to agree with Stumbaugh, the door latch set up on the Specialty Top is not the best. (Install it upside down from the instructions and it works better!) The quality is very evident in the Specialty Top product. It is also the most expensive option out there. ($770 shipped w/doors) No one seams to deal on the price since the Mfgr. is hard line on there pricing. (I don’t blame them since they are on I think owner #3) I love the way the thing looks! I ordered it custom with gray vinyl and 35% tinted rear windows. I then had them put a light tint 5% or so on the door windows. Since the back is darker the doors look darker from the outside, but great visibility from the inside. I will post some pic’s in a new post.
