I need to get a set....Scout inner length with Waggy outers. Who has found the best deal and should I use Moser, Warns....Dutchman or what ? My 44 isn't holding up with 38's and 5.13's.

Randy's has some 4340 shafts for cheap. I was quoted $102(ea.) for Scout inners.

I would go Warn then Warn then Warn

SOmeone will hopefully confirm this... but I heard on here in another thread that the Randy's shafts weren't as good as the warns.

Do not use Mosier's their rears kick ass, but the fronts suck!

Sounds like Warns? Who is the cheapest on their Warn shafts? Also on the Randy's?....are they machined for full circle clips? Do Randy's have moly outers? Thanks guys...

My brand new Warn inners for a Wagoneer 44 were $210 shipped for the pair

Oh wait, I got mine off ebay :flipoff2: :flipoff2: Outters were $243 locally with taxes, etc.

Can you tells us why you say this? I know that they don't harden the ears but does this make them suck? I got the Moser because I didn't know any better at the time. I would get Warns if I did it over but the Mosers do have a lot of meat around the ears. So I dont think that they suck :flipoff2:

You just answered your own question. The warns are better because the yokes are hardened. Have a much better chance of surviving u-joint breakage.

Ditto on RCKRTZ, Drivetrain Direct, lifetime no questions. My whole set for the ford front was in the mid 5's. They come with u-joints too, but not the full circle clips.

Chark, you comin' over for winterfest this year, there's some pretty sweet terrain poppin up at the park.

I'll be makin' the winter run.....Easy XJ. I'm wanting to give Jellico a try sometime in the fall, maybe mid Oct., anything else coming up???

As far as I know the stuff in Jellico is only open for comps and such, not public use yet. You should make the run down and check it out this weekend, I'll be there on Sun. I'd like to go somewhere in Nov. I'm doing moab in early Oct. with the gang.

BTW, the warn shafts rock. They're solid as can be, the ears don't bend like the moser ones do (just trying to keep this thread on topic :D )

Easy

Drivetrain Warehouse, has the no questions asked Lifetime warranty.
They will sell the inners and outers with new U joints for $549,(no tax in Ca) ($509 without joints). You need to mention one of their adds in the rags to get the price. Oh yeah, this is the last week of free shipping (they have been saying this for the last couple years).

Drivetrain Direct sells Superior shafts.
