ok just got these axles from a 79 bronco.. the question is what do i need to do with the front drive shaft?? i can remember. do i have the lengthen it or shorten it? same with the rear. i was just going to throw them in and not do much to the brakes until i got some more cash flow. i've heard of people saying you have to upgrade the master and the booster? do you think it will be ok? thanks alot guys. and i did search

and these are going in a jeep right? driveshaft lenghts will be close if you are not changing the wheelbase length. i have no idea what axles you are running now. also depends on how much slip spline you have on your existing shafts.

best bet is to do the axle swap and then see how they fit. you can take measurements from center of yoke to center of yoke on both shafts "before" and then compare with "after" measurements for shits and grins.

the driveshaft lenth issue is just the icing on the cake of an axle swap--------

i am running a ford 44 front and an 8.8 from a bronco in the rear and still have the yj master and have no brake issues. also, you shouldn't have to do anything with your driveshafts, they should fit.
