I havea 99 3.4 in my 1990 runner
smagged it 7-9 months agoi all perfect, now it sat 7 months and the check light is on most the time, sometimes off...same deal on my 2002 gmc sonoma:shaking:
02 sensors?
how do I pull codes off these 3.4L motors?

There are a number of 'code readers' out there. I bought this 2 years ago and it's been invaluable. If you were closer, I would check the codes for you for free.

wasn't sure if it needed a reader or the same as old 22re stuff with a jumper wire
I'll get a reader or autozone might do it free, or smog shop
I know my gmc needs a reader

I did...........saw code chart, but not that I needed a obd2 reader:D

light went out after pulling battery cable...reset?
then I went and smogged it, drove about a mile, went in store came out & light back on, lol
sold it next day though:(
odd is the weather warmed up & the light went out on my 2002 sonoma with the 4.3, it's been on/off last 2 months
anyway just a follow up for searchers
