Up 'till a few years ago Savage made the model 24. If you want one you should call savage and tell them. Maybe they will start making them again.

Remington still does make one

My friend owns a very nice savage 24 O/U in a .222/20ga combo. Real nice weapon.

Paige's dad gave me a .410/.22LR over under, it's got a heavy "patina" but I think I'm going to try and take it all apart, bead blast and then maybe pay to get it hot blued again. Then I'm going to give it back to him, since it's got sentimental value to him.

They are more common in Eurpoe from what I see. Serach for Combo guns as well, there is another name for them but I can't remem.

Most I've come across are closer to 1K

I just looked at a single shot .17 hmr /12 guage at academy. It has removable barrels. It was made by Rossi:barf: and was $149.

EAA/Baikal make break open combo doubles. Combo's are: (gauge/caliber)

12/222
12/223R
12/6.5x55
12/7.62x39
12/308
12/30-06
20/22 MAG
20/22 LR

The look decent, but after the safety on my Baikal O/U failed, I probably wouldn't buy another.

(note: didn't fail to keep safe, but would re-engage after the first barrel fired every time, got goddamned annoying)

I've got a Savage .22LR/20 guage O/U. My grandfather gave it to my dad for his 12th birthday and, in turn, my dad gave it to me on my 12th birthday.

never had a problem with rossi. i find they make inexpensive alternatives to high priced lever actions.

also, i am a fan of their 38 spl revolvers. to each his own though...

I have a savage .22/.410. It's a neat little gun. The firing pin on the .22 has been dry fired too much and only works 75% of the time the hammer drops but it's otherwise a neat gun. It lives out at the cabin sort of like a "truck gun".

Drillings have two shotgun (smoothbore) barrels and one rifled barrel

M6 for aircrews were .22 over 410/45LC

I have a very old "Stevens" .410/22, a grandpa hand me down. Great gun. Not sure they make them anymore, but I've seen used ones around.

And damn sweet... I would be happy with a combo or drilling with a 12 gauge and 30-06 or something right around that caliber.

All the good ones are out of my price though.
