Thats the first thing I did. The guy I talked to didn't know shit. He tried to sell me a new one. I have a rear 30 spline and want to put it in the front and spool rear.

arb has a different case for 30, and 32 spline apps. - 35, 37, and 40 spline all use the next size internal bearings so all parts are different execpt springs, seals ....ect...( per paul in tech asst @arb )....i called myself.

Dana 60 ARB- No the 30 spline and 35 spline Air Lockers use two different cases.

Dana 44 ARB 1st gen- You cannot convert the older RD06/07/18/19 units to 35 spline. The 1st gen have a 3 pc case: 2 end caps and the center housing.

Dana 44 ARB 2nd Gen- Can be converted to 35 spline or 33 spline for that matter; soon to 32 spline (JK Rubi rear). The 2nd gen diffs are 2pc cases: the main case and the ring gear flange cap.
