I have the chance to get an ARB off of a 80 series in Richmond. My question is this: will an 80 series ARB fit a 60 series? I am not familiar with the front ends of the 80 series.

Not without a good deal of modification. The frame on an '80 is wider than on a '60.

No way. Besides the frane width issue, the 80-series bar is very different, it wraps around the front and tucks under the edge of the fenders. The 60/62 bar is more straight. Besides, you can't do something like this with the 80 bumper:

Hi-Lift jacking pocket, stole the idea from Henry C. :D

I really want an ARB front bumper for my 60, but the shipping alone from Seattle is around 200.00 plus the cost of the bumper too. Oh well, F it, I will do without for a while and hope that St. Nick will bring me one for X MAS.

Have you thought about these guys:

4x4 Connection (http://www.4x4connection.com)

Might be within a day trip distance, save the shipping cost.

I was actually up in D.C a month ago and called them up to see if they had any ARB's for a 60....the guy said let me check the warehouse....comes back on the line and tells me he has 12 in the warehouse. I told him I would be there in a couple of hours (they are in Winchester now) I get there and tell the guy behind the counter that I want to get an ARB from him he tells me that he doesn't have any , but the ARB "warehouse" has 12 in stock.......yea that's all the way in Seattle. I was more than a little pissed and he tells me he can ship it to my house for an additional 200.00. Even if he had one in stock he would add the shipping charge at the counter?! I have done business through them in the past, but after that sour incident I might as well go with the SOR's or MAF's pricing.
