Hot dog!!!

The new white Walls are in and I need to get them mounted and balanced.

I priced a few of the shops around here and the 2 dealers wanted about $110 to put them on if I bring the whole bike in. (I am in no way capable of removing them myself)

There is an Independent shop that looks like mostly sport bikes but said they could do it for $85.

Would you trust the sport bike shop enough to know what they are doing on a shadow with tubes and spokes enough to handle it?

What's so hard about removing the wheels on a Shadow?

Shaft drive, no lift to put it on and my busy schedule:flipoff2:

As long as the sportbike shop knows that they will be eating a tube if they pinch it and you know that they might not have it in stock and need to order it, therefore your bike sits there for longer than no big deal...I like going to a dealer and when it comes down to $25, I know where I would spend my money!!

Shop here wants $40/tire to mount/balance if you bring in the rims. :shaking: Double that if you bring in the bike. boggles my mind

Why? Takes more time to remove the wheels from the bike. So it costs more.
