View Full Version : Recomend me a torch set

I more or less need something to heat up rusty nuts and bolts. I'm sure it will see some occasional cutting work (maybe a half dozen times a year?). I have always liked Victor torches. I don't want to spend a ton of money on this either. I'm even considering a harbor freight set.

I have the 'store brand' set from my local welding supply place. The dude there said it is made by Victor -- it was about 1/2 the price of the of the 'name brand' stuff if I recall.

It works great and I haven't had any trouble with it.

Like a praxair set? Hmm I will have to check that out.

Nothing wrong with the Air Gas house brand Radnor I think they are made by Victor.

I need to upgrade my torch also.:D
