Anyone wanting to have input into the trails and rivers in SE Idaho here is an opportunity. Like everywhereelse we are under pressure here as well.
Hello Public Lands Enthusiasts,
The Upper Snake Field Office (Idaho Falls, ID) of the BLM would appreciate your online input on two projects. We have extended the website availability through Sunday, May 10, 2009.
To provide your input, please go to the following University of Idaho website:
www.cnr.uidaho.edu/uppersnake/input.htm
The first project is targeted towards those who engage in recreational activities on areas managed by the Upper Snake Field Office. Input will be utilized for recreation management planning purposes.
The second project is regarding whether portions of the South Fork of the Snake River, the Teton River, or Teton River tributaries are suitable for designation as Wild, Scenic, or Recreational within the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System.
After May 10th the website will no longer be available, but you may provide input directly to the BLM via email, phone, fax, or mail (www.blm.gov/id/st/en/fo/upper_snake/Planning.html).
Thank you for your efforts,
