IS IT POSSIBLE TO REDRILL EIGHT LUG TO 6 LUG AND STILL FIT THE RIM OVER THE HUB WITHOUT MACHINING THE RIM?
WHAT IS THE DIA OF A FRONT 60 HUB?
MY RIMS ARE MT ALCOAS......THE CENTER HOLE IS 4.5"""

HUH......I KNOW THEY ARE BIGGER ,BUT ARE THEY BIGGER THAN 4.5".......THE HOLE IN MY RIM.......:confused:

hey ryan, i just ran out and measured my rim, the hole measured something close to 5- 1/8"
i still have both ford hp rc dana 60's and the chevy dana 60, also, just checked tracking on my hoop, should be here tomorrow...:eek:

With 30 seconds of "search" I found this thread. It's an oldie, but a goodie. Read and learn. thread (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11938&highlight=lug+conversion)
In a nutshell:
turn 60 hub od to 4.25"
drill 6 lug pattern
make custom caliper bracket
turn out id of chevy rotor
bolt together and go.
Yes it's doable.

how have you done a rear?
I got a 14 bolt i would like to make 5 on 5.5, should i take it off the rim or the hub? or a little of both

Take as much as you can from the hub. Use SHCS instead of the bolts.
