Hey Ben saw your remote filters on my Radiator thread. I am going to have to remote my oil filter because of tierod issues. I will do a remote trans filter also. I have heard that mounting the filter up high can cause oil pressure issues on startup. How does yours work? I am also wondering about mounting the filters.
My theory is to mount the filter on top of the housing thinking that on steep climbs the fluids will drain back into the pickups rather than be trapped in the cannister giving a few more seconds of flow. What do you guys think?

No Nats for me, way too much work still to be done. Lost 3 days working time last weekend. Bizzare story including lesbianism, long island ice tea's, liberal use of the L word as well as equal parts of I hate you and visible bruising the next day. Gotta love the single life:rolleyes: !

I haven't had any oil pressure problems. I put them where I did because there really wasn't any where else to put them. So far so good.

I don't think mounting the filters upside down would be neccesary.

I wouldnt bother mounting them upside down either. Since the whole things driven by a pump I dont think it'd matter to begin with other than making oil changes messy.

You know that reminds me of a story. I was in bar out of town for business. Minding my own business, so I start talking to this feminist, mind you this is in the Bible belt. Long story short, I ended the conversation with

"If we (men) didn't need you women for sex and child bearing, we'd hunt you in packs"

Let's say it did not go over too well :p
