Does anyone use the Spring Sliders for Coil springs?

Like the one that AFCO sells?

supposedly, it provides a smoother ride, and will keep help keep the coil from binding during flex....

Im checking into how strong that heim joint is for mounting purposes....

Binding during flex? I don't have THAT issue, I don't have the space to list my issues though. I would be interested in what you find.

I would think in an offroad/flexing 4x4 environment that thing would actually limit the travel because it wouldn't just let the spring completely go. Or at least I can't see how it could with the centering deal going on.

if your looking for ways to keep spring "squirm" from happening on full flex or extension, I can help you there. Centering also. Anything else, I am not sure what you would be after with that device.
