View Full Version : looking at an '86 G30 4x4 chevy conversion van...
the guy is the 3rd owner and thought it came from the factory as a 4x4... I've searched here and google and can't find any info...
anybody know if the factory actually put these out with 4x4 stock, and have an info about them?... it's not lifted or anything, and I can't go check it out in person until the guy gets off work today...
thanks.

http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=736270&highlight=odd+ballSee post 13. Later in that thread someone posted a Craigslist ad for that setup from a 79 Chevy van. Front drive made by Dana. Could be this setup.
i was on my way out to give it a test drive and figure out the drivetrain a few hours ago (15 miles away), but the guy called me to say he couldn't get it to start... carfax also informed me that the odometer got fucked up in 2003 at 89k miles and no longer works...
I think I'm just gonna pass on this one...

no fullsize 4x4 vans came from the factory, they were all converted by subcontractors. its probably a pathfinder conversion. with a 44 front. seriously though, carfax? thats funny. how much were you going to pay for the pos that you decided to run a carfax check on it? you should just build your own, you can do a better job if you use the right parts.
