I am trying to find some federal 215M primers and this is what powder valley has on their website :eek:
At this time we are not taking any new backorders for primers that are not listed here. We currently have over 50 million primers on backorder. If you currently have a backorder in place your order will be processed as primers become available. Once we begin receiving more primers from the manufacturers and are able to begin filling current backorders we will update the website.

I have 3 k of winchester large rifle magnum, Not match stuff though.. I would trade for just large rifle

federal 210m and 215m primers have been nearly impossible to find for well over a year.
i have 1k of 215m primers that i am saving for when i rebarrel my 300win mag. for now i am using standard 215 primers till i finish off this barrel. i have 4k 210m primers that i don't even use. i am going to hang onto them just in case i can't get cci br2 primers.

The big deal is why doesn't some unemployed industrious joe start making primers?
most unemployed joes probably dont have the querrter mil needed for machinery, licenses, insurance, etc needed to manufacture an explosive.
Plus the fact that how exactly is joe going to find the raw materials required when cci, fed, rem, win, etc cant?

You know 50mil doesn't really seem like that big a deal. Considering I am just a small part time guy and have 400k on order.

It's not - if you think nationwide.
There are two small-time ammo manufacturers here in TN that order primers a million at a time. A hundred thousand for them is a one week supply.
I don't buy lots of less than 25,000 - and I'm just one guy.
