Half ass photochop,
within the jaws of the vise, remove the regular vise jaws and bolt 1/2" flat stock in place, to give you the appropriate throat depth, hell I don't even care if I buy a cheap vise and weld the plate to the jaws permanently

The only thing I can't figure out is how to drive the panel... what does the PBB say for a drive mechanism? I don't think this low budget pos won't flex as much as the HF model :flipoff2:

I went to port huron last week and the bastards wouldn't sell me the floor model and they were out of stock... this is plan B unless it's doomed for ultimate failure.

I stole the original pic from a ricer site

For gears... I started to think about the D35 shafts and spider gears I have kicking around :D

I've seen this pic before.

It was made to put a bead on intercooler piping, IIRC. In that situation, you could probably put a strap wrench on the piping, take small passes, and make it work.

For anything else, I don't think it's feasible.

I would take a crap socket , grind the chrome off and weld it to one of the rollers, then use a ratchet to drive it ( F/R )

What are you trying to bead? As was said, that setup is obviously for beading tubing. I think you're going to be going through a lot of work for something that won't do what you want...
