A buddy of mine picked up an old Miller 250 Twin stick welder from a shop in town. Its currently setup for 480 volts. He only has 220 in the shop. We need to get 'er set up.

We called Miller, and the ONLY thing they could tell us was that it was made in 1972. Thats it, no manual, no nothing.

There is a pic of the wiring pannel.

Thanks in advance

From the photo, I think I have the right manual: http://millerwelds.com/om/o119_mil.pdf

Shows the jumpers on page 11. Surprised your phone call to Miller didn't give you that.

Thats EXACTLY what i needed, Thanks man.

Im not sure what was going on with the 2 or 3 guys at Miller, but they didnt have any information for me at all. Ive done business with Miller in the past and I've never not been able to get the information that i need, it was just odd.

That is from the owners manual section of the website, by the way. AFAIK, all the machines ever produced are in there.

All I can say is perhaps the summer help has started.

Summer help back a few years had sent to us in Pa I can`t remember the exact number but at least $30,000 worth of boards that were to be sent to Texas .:shaking:

As long as it is not a 3 phase only machine you should be good to go will no doubt draw a huge amount of current on 230V
