got a 88 yj with a 98 cherokee 4.0 and was out on trail and fliped up a stick and broke a wire and killed jeep right away couldnt find out were it went to its a 3 wire plug on the back side of the intake manifold on top one side looks like its goes to the fuel rail didnt spend much time on it cause it got dark on me fast and was wanting to see iff anyone had any ideas where this might go to wont have time to work on ot till saturday and wanting to go trailing saturday night

If its a 3 wire plug in that location and it killed the jeep that quickly then its a Crank sensor, as long as it didnt pull the wires out of the unit you can just twist the wires back together and elect. tape it to get it running and back home. Good luck.
