so far i have shortened the bed 10 inches and i got new bedsides. plated the front of the frame and made custom bgine mounts for the diesel. plated the rear of the frame and added pulling points. i put the pads in the cab for my rollcage. made a custom tranny mount/crossmember. made my own radius arms for my front ford dana 44 and new perches and a SOA for the 9 inch in the rear. i tried making a cowl induction hood out of my stock one but i didnt like how it turned out and have since cut it up to try again. i'm waiting on my box for rocks kit to get here. i'm using a NP231 double to a DANA 300. im using the stock T-19 Transmission behind the Nissan 3.2L Turbo Diesel.

what is this engine out of? and Will this pass PA emissions?

the engine and tranny is out of a 1980 International Scout. As far as i know it will pass emissions. I dont think there are any restrictions on diesels before 1990. At least I hope not.

Those solid mounted coil buckets aren't going to last with the Ford radius arm setup. You need to have them bolted to the RA since the RA's change their angle relative to the axle tube during suspension flex.


The flares and rims are too big and the tires are too small on the SuperDuty.
