The passenger side wheel of my 84 cj7 with a dana 30 front end has too much camber. It's not the bearings or the ball joints. I figure either the ends or tube is bent slightly. Anyone with experience on how to best straighten it? I'm thinking about heating up the tube with a torch.

I would probably get another one. There are plenty out there for cheap.

I would not heat it bottle jack, stong back say 1" x 4" flat bar, 2 short pieces of chain. that is one way I'll email you a pic

Before you heat it check with your local allignment shop and they should have degree shims that go betweeen your knuckle and spindle. They come in different degrees so you need to knoe how much yours is out. It is a very common problem from the factory..

Heating and bending is not a good thing to do. If replacement is not an option.
Heating and quenching is acceptible. Heat the stretched area to a nice cherry red, about 3" glowing area. Heat it really slow, dont just nuke it. Quench the area with a wet rag, it should pull it back.
I have straightend many 9" ford housings this way. Off course this will only work if the tube is bent, if the ends are bent, can it.

My 80 CJ7 has the same problem on the passenger side too. It wears the tires on the outside only. I'm going to check into the shims and if it's pricey, I'll do a swap to a 44.
