my buddie is doing crossover on his chev, and needs the pasenger steering knuckle on his 8 lug D44 milled/drilled/and tapped.
who would you have do yours?
he would prefer not to have to ship it, so San Jose, San Francisco, Sacto ect. We are in Santa Cruz.

i'm bringing my own thread up from the dead...
i started this thread for my buddy that was doing crossover on his blazer.
now i'm building a new rig and need my d44 steering knuckle milled drilled and tapped.
my buddy just baught one from off road designs or something.
i called wicked fabrication, and they didnt sound super confedent on it.

so where are you bay area guys taking your steering knuckles to have them machined?

nah when you called my machinist buddy was here...hes the one that does it..he didnt remember doing it before, i had to refresh his dome.... i dont have the stuff here to do it so i farm out the work. i can get it done right no prob. trust me on this;)

66CJDean works in Santa Clara and does these for about $40 a piece. Just PM him....He usually has a couple laying around and will just trade you straight up + $40.
