I am switching to rear discs on my 92 GMC 1/2T. I wanted to get a new master cyl set up for discs. Instead of just a proportioning valve. I had heard that a master and booster out of a 92 3500HD with disc would fit. However mine is vacuum and the 3500HD is hydrolic. That means to much swapping for me. Does anyone have any ideas or know of a vacuum setup for 4wheel disc that will fit my rig?

The 3500HD master/booster is WAYYY overkill. If you even breathed on the brake pedal, you'll put your truck into a 4-wheel skid <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0">

See if the late 70's Cadillac master fits your booster. Also try the 99-up Silverado, and I'm told some of the last Caprice/Impalas had rear disc too.

I to am going with this conversion willwood 4 piston calipers (front) and 3/4 chevy rotors & calipers rear willwood master cylinder, and I was told to swap in a 75 caddy's (elderado) master cylinder for the perfect match. This was suggested to me by the staff at willwood. Hope this helps.

Thanx for the suggestions. I am putting a tera60r in with a ford explorer 11" kit. I wonder if the kit manufacter would know like wilwood guys did. I might try to call both. I need to find out asap as Mon I have to do the swap. Nothing like waiting to the last minute.
