Radio Shack is closing out almost all their CB's. A basic unit was $15.00.

the low end uniden is a decent unit for 39 bucks.

Yep! Can't beat it! Maxon is the OEM manufactuer for Uniden's and a bunch of the name brands, $34 bucks gets ya a cool unit.

What ever you get make sure it has a NB(noise blank) or a ANL(automatic noise limiter) switch on it. They take out a lot of noise.

I love the unided pro510/520 seriese radios, they're compact, cheap (~$20 on ebay,) easy to operate when bouncing around in a truck, and seem to be more tolerant of a poor antenna setup, unlike the Cobra 19ultra I burnt up the finals in when I thought I'd upgrade,

I've bought a fair amount of used radio gear, and my experience has beent that Radio Shack is ABSOLUTE SHIT. Even the electronics made by a company other than archer that carry the radio shack name :mad:
