that's a good price...as long as he provides the 20 year supply of vaseline...Offer him $4000 and see what he says.

I actually dont think that is an outrageous price(5500 would be more like it). Pretty clean truck but it would suit someone better as a resto sunday driver. You are looking for what exactly?

These arent jeeps, so they are not as common and price reflects it. Do you really want a cruiser? just buy one that needs some work, fix it up and learn about the truck and how it works. If you are going to wheel it, things are going to break anyhow... Dont buy the most perfect rig out there, you will want to change things so leave yourself with some money. These trucks are pushing 30 years old and there is no mechanically perfect one out there that has not had a ton of money pumped into it, so the owner will liekly want to recoup some of the costs... YOU WILL HAVE TO DO WORK$$$ ON IT (OR PAY TO HAVE IT DONE)

Check around with local shops they are bound to have a few trucks out there they know of for sale...

Just buy a cruiser.

I think we need to proclaim LCL the Rodney Daingerfield of the POR, just as Rodney never gets any respect, LCL will never find himself a Cruiser.
Hell...... I think Nolen and I have bought at least 6 or 7 between us since LCL has been registered here.

Brett is right: Not too bad for someone interested in a resto project at about $5K. The OEM soft top and PTO winch are worth a little more than average. The center soft top bow is missing in the picture.

No reason to pay that much for a trail rig though. As soon as you start fooling with it you will start losing value. If you want a trail rig, you can do better.

here's one that runs and is trail worthy too at $5k.
