Was going threw a Dana catalog, though someone else might like this info. This is Dana's only years for this.
Below is a list of the years of the spindle and knuckle you’ll need for a Chevy disk conversion to run Ford hubs on it. Do note all the differnet knuckles!

Ford Hub and Rotor you want is 1976-1985.
86 was a "unique" year, easier to stay away
Some people say 87-9? Not sure on this but why take a chance?
(Not including Dodge flat top knuckles as the spindle doesn't work)

In my experience the "unique" year is 85. Ford used a different hub that year for some reason.
You can verify by going to www.carparts.com or www.timkeninfo.com and looking up the bearing numbers. They are the same from late 70's to mid 90's except 85.
I used 88 when I had a D44
I don't quite understand the different knuckle issue. In my experience, as long as it uses six studs to attach the spindle it will work.

great info. I couldn't find the small bearing spindles so I opted to have my waggy spindles turned down on a lathe.
good topic

Ok I'm done for the season (winter) but here is some more info on flat top knuckles. Only a draft, I've more pics and info just too lazy to take any more time

YEOW! Looks good. Becareful on your spindle year, match the part number. Chevy did run at least two different style caliper brackets, not sure on Jeep.

Yeah i tested fitting ford bearings, rotor/hubs with chevy spindles, its all good fit as tightened.
I ll check/test on waggy brakes and hope it will work w/ ford rotor/hub and also clearence between the rims and capliers but i was told it will work.
Thanks!
