My 84 Toyota 4X4 Pickup truck was stolen from the Salmon Creek Park & Ride (North of Vancouver, WA) sometime between 7:45 AM and 3:30 PM today (May 26).

Description...

Color: sort of a brownish red, oxidizing paint - losing some paint on the cab roof. It has a brand new set of Les Schwab tires on white rims.

Black Brahma canopy (ribbed top), with 2 Yakima bike racks mounted on top of the canopy. The Yakima rack towers are bolted to the sides of the canopy above the windows. Also had a Ron Paul 2008 bumper sticker on the left side of the rear bumper when it was stolen.

Entry was by way of pulling out the door locking mechanism.

Good News!

My '84 4x4 Toyota PU that was stolen on the 26th has been recovered (about 36 hours after it was taken), mostly intact, except for damages to the door lock, and ignition switch mechanism. It was found by officers of the Vancouver, WA police department.

The Yakima bike rack, and some other things from inside the cab are still missing, but the truck is now back in my possession.

Beware the Park & Ride lots. My vehicle was found in another P&R lot a few miles away, and it appears that another car next to where my vehicle was found was probably stolen - there was broken glass all over the ground (but not from my vehicle).
